New website PUBLISHED

Website Renovation preview TWO

If I wanted to, I could publish the update now without harm. But I would rather put up the remaining Trainz pictures and inspect the site first. On the first update (happening today), there will be a total of NINE pictures, all from Trainz. There will be a few useful pages from the navigation menu, however.

You all, this will likely be the last real post I will post on either of my blogs. Thanks for making this enjoyable. I have added a guest book on the renovated website. If it works properly, you can leave comments there. Otherwise, just stay tuned for the post containing the link when it is published!

Website renovation preview ONE

This is hard work. I think I could create a new website faster, because at least a new website doesn't include deleting everything on the home page. :l

The new design is complex, but all I will say is it gives the site more of a desert feel to it. I will save pictures for the day it is opened. ;)

I have taken down a few pages, most significantly being the updates and the my signal page. Updates being because I will put those on the home page. My signal because I never seem to go to Riverside anymore.

Most old pages still will exist, and those will be given the same renovations.

Here are some never asked questions!

Will the publish date be pushed back?
Yes, probably back even as far as mid June.

Will the web address be changed?
Likely no, unless I can find a way to...

Will the name of the site be changed?
Yes, to National Railfan.

Will there be pictures of real trains and Trainz there?
Yes.

Will you quit updating your blogs once it is complete?
Likely, but I will see if there is a way people can comment on the site.

My website

As some of you may know, I started a website in 2007, and abandoned it in 2010. Well, I will be giving my old www.trainsignals.homestead.com site a huge overhaul replacing the current basic, bland feel with a newer, more modern and complex feel. I am setting the date for this to be done at May 18th, which may be pushed back some.

In other news, We have reached 8,000 views!!!

Richmond and Rosenberg, this Thursday!

I will be railfanning Richmond in the AM, and Rosenberg in the PM. Also, off-topic sorta kinda, if you ever are in Rosenberg for lunch, go to Another Time Soda Fountain, you won't regret it.
